Who is eligible to vote in the District 5 County Commissioner primary?

How can I verify if I live in District 5?

The most accurate way to confirm your district is by looking up your voter registration profile at GoVoteColorado.gov. You can also review the official district maps provided on the El Paso County Clerk and Recorder’s website to see if your residential address falls within the District 5 boundaries.

I am registered as an Unaffiliated voter. How do I participate in this primary?

In Colorado, unaffiliated voters automatically receive the primary ballots for both major political parties in the mail. It is critical that you only vote and return one of those ballots. If you fill out and return both, neither vote will be counted.

What is the absolute deadline to return my ballot?

Your ballot must be in the physical possession of the El Paso County Clerk and Recorder by exactly 7:00 PM on Election Day, June 30, 2026. Postmarks do not count. If you are returning your ballot within eight days of the election, we highly recommend utilizing a secure 24-hour drop box rather than the postal service.

Is it too late to register to vote on Election Day?

No, it is not too late. Colorado is a same-day voter registration state. Eligible citizens can register to vote, update their address, and cast a ballot in person at any local Voter Service and Polling Center (VSPC) in the county right up until 7:00 PM on Election Day.
